About the Company

An early-stage fintech building a stablecoin clearinghouse, the rails that let payments companies, banks, and fintechs move stablecoins like money. The platform gives financial institutions one-for-one swaps between stablecoins across chains, with a focus on reconciliation at scale, guaranteed delivery times and fees, and compliant capital movement. Design partnerships are already in place with well-known fintech names, and the founding team brings deep backgrounds in fintech investing and engineering.

About the Role

This seat owns the test harness and correctness guarantees for a system that moves real money. The core is a well-written but complicated state machine that has to stay provably correct as it grows. You will also build the internal tooling and developer infrastructure that give a small team the leverage of a big one.

What You'll Own

• Test infrastructure across the money-movement stack: integration tests, formal verification, chaos testing, and property-based testing
• Correctness guarantees for the ledger, netting algorithm, and payment ordering
• Internal tooling, CI/CD, dev environments, and deployment infrastructure
• Security-minded engineering, including adversarial thinking about failure modes and attack surfaces
  
  

What We're Looking For

• A platform, SRE, or infrastructure background with a genuine correctness obsession
• Real ownership of test infrastructure, not just contributions to someone else's
• Strong distributed-systems fundamentals and a habit of building systems that keep running
• Production experience building internal tooling
• A security mindset: you think adversarially about how systems fail
• High urgency and ownership: you ship in week one and weigh in on architecture
• A serious attitude toward the responsibility of moving money
• Bonus: experience from a hedge fund or trading back or middle office, a fast-moving fintech in a regulated space, or a large, respected fintech. Crypto or stablecoin familiarity is a plus but teachable.
  
  

Logistics

New York City, in person five days a week. Compensation is $200K to $225K base plus equity, with more equity for earlier joiners and a six-year vesting schedule. Work authorization sponsorship is generally available; sponsored candidates should confirm their exact current visa status and expected filing timelines early.
