Software Engineer

A healthcare technology company automating prior authorizations and medication access for providers, so patients can get approved and start treatment faster. The platform handles prior authorizations, appeal letters, benefit verifications, pharmacy routing, and patient communication end to end, integrating directly into a provider's existing workflow. It's used by thousands of providers across the country, from solo practices to large health systems, is HIPAA-compliant and SOC 2 Type 2 certified, and has recently closed a large, well-publicized growth round at a multi-billion dollar valuation.

About the Role

You'll work across the stack to solve real business problems and build the foundation of the platform. You'll have end-to-end ownership of projects, from definition through launch and measurable impact.

What You'll Own

• Full product surface areas, not just individual tickets
• Zero-to-one development on new workflows and features
• Full-stack features spanning backend, frontend, and data
• Direct engagement with clients as part of building and refining the product
• Scaling engineering systems as usage grows

What We're Looking For

• 8 or more years of full-stack engineering experience shipping products at scale. This is a genuinely senior bar, not a stated minimum but a real one
• Strong general programming ability and computer science fundamentals
• Experience at fast-growing, product-driven companies
• Working fluency across Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes
• Strong written and verbal communication, since this role includes direct client engagement
• A track record of moving quickly and going to real lengths to ship
• Bonus: experience building AI or ML products involving document classification, unstructured data extraction, or retrieval-augmented question answering; experience with robotic process automation or scraping to automate workflows across third-party platforms
