About the Role
This is a product-minded senior engineer seat with real data experience, helping build a differentiated AI and software coaching product. This is an applied-AI, full-stack product role, someone who has figured out how to incorporate AI into real products, not a data-engineering or ML-research profile. You'll join a small, fast, flat team and work closely with design and coaching to ship a genuinely compelling product experience, designing AI-enabled capabilities on top of foundation models, translating coaching workflows into high-quality AI-agent experiences, and building the data pipelines and integrations behind it.

- Features and experiences built zero to one: shipping regularly, making real trade-offs, taking risks
- AI-enabled capabilities on top of foundation models, structured for adaptability, reuse, and scalability
- Translating coaching insights and workflows into high-quality AI-agent product experiences
- Data pipelines and integrations across a broader productivity and learning ecosystem
- Peer mentorship on AI and data best practices
What We're Looking For
- A product-minded senior engineer who has shipped data or AI-related products into production with real users, this is not an entry-level seat
- A genuinely applied-AI, full-stack product background, not an ML or data-engineering research profile
- A sophisticated, far-down-the-curve user of AI coding tools, someone with a real, tuned process: knowing when they work, how to validate outputs, how to automate more of their own workflow. This gets tested directly in a live coding interview
- Server-side web application experience, comfortable in dynamic languages, adaptable across stacks (pure mobile or embedded-only experience is a harder fit here)
- Real data-engineering or software-architecture opinions, and a crisp, defensible mental model for the technical choices you make
- Roughly 8 to 10 years of experience; startup experience matters, a background of only big tech plus consulting is a mismatch unless it included real, high-ownership work
- Genuine mission alignment with human-centered coaching, not someone who questions why the coaches aren't just being automated away
Logistics
Fully remote, across the US, Canada, and Latin America. Compensation is $180K to $210K plus equity. Visa sponsorship is limited.
