A fast-growing AI platform serving in-house legal teams at over 1,800 companies, backed by a recent nine-figure Series B round. This is the company's single highest-priority engineering hire right now.

About the Role

This is a full-stack product engineering seat focused on LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, and rapid prototyping. It's a shipping role, not a research seat. You'll take features from concept through production while helping scale a small, high-leverage Applied AI team.

What You'll Own

• Ship LLM orchestration features end to end
• Evaluate new model releases and integrate them into the product
• Build and maintain AI connectors and prototyping frameworks
• Review technical work from subject-matter experts on the team
• Mentor other engineers on the Applied AI team

What We're Looking For

• Strong full-stack or specialized front-end/back-end experience at a strong enterprise or consumer product company, ideally with real startup-scale ownership
• Deep, hands-on TypeScript and React experience — these should not be new skills
• Experience building AI products, chatbots, or LLM integrations, and genuine daily use of AI tools
• This is a shipping role: a deep ML or research background alone is not the target profile
• Bonus: founding engineer experience, especially with a notable exit; experience with RAG systems or multi-agent AI
