Connecting WhatsApp
Receive candidate resumes through WhatsApp Business.
What it does
With WhatsApp connected, candidates can send resumes to your company's WhatsApp Business number and they flow into your import queue automatically.
Setting it up
WhatsApp uses Meta's Cloud API. From **Settings**, enter your company's WhatsApp Business credentials — the Phone Number ID, access token and app secret. Both company admins and recruiters can manage these.
How messages are handled
- A document message (PDF or DOCX) is downloaded, parsed and added to the import queue for review.
- A text message is read by AI to pull out candidate details; if there is not enough, the system replies asking for a resume file.
Once set up, candidate intake over WhatsApp is hands-off — you just review the import queue.
