SohamRecruit uses AI to remove typing and speed up decisions:

• **Resume parsing** — extracts structured fields from uploaded resumes.
• **Fit scoring** — scores a candidate against a job from 0 to 100 with reasons, highlights and gaps.
• **Job suggestions** — suggests open jobs a candidate matches.
• **Candidate summaries** — a short recruiter-friendly summary on the candidate profile.
• **Outreach drafts** — drafts a personalised email or WhatsApp message.
• **Interview questions** — generates questions from a job description.
• **Natural-language search** — type "React developers in Bangalore with 5+ years" and it builds the filters.

When AI is unavailable

If an AI call fails, the product is honest about it — you get a "we couldn't read this" signal rather than made-up data. Resume bulk-upload uses keyword scoring as a fallback when the AI quota is exhausted.
