What automations do

Automations run an action when something happens in your pipeline — without you lifting a finger.

Triggers and actions

• **Triggers**: a stage move, a candidate status change, an interview status change, a placement created, or a placement paid.
• **Actions**: send an email, create a follow-up task, or send a notification.

Approval modes

Each rule has an approval mode so you stay in control:

• **Auto** — runs immediately.
• **Review** — the action waits in an approval queue for a recruiter or admin to approve or reject it first.

Getting started

Open **Automations** in the sidebar. There are six starter templates to enable with one click. If you have no rules yet, the system also suggests two or three tailored rules based on your pipeline. When AI content is enabled, emails and notes are personalised per candidate; otherwise simple templates are used.
