Getting started: your first login
What to expect the first time you sign in and the fastest path to your first placement.
Welcome to SohamRecruit
SohamRecruit is an applicant tracking system built for small recruitment consultancies. After you register a company, you sign in immediately — there is no approval queue.
Your first few minutes
- The **Dashboard** is your home base. Until you add candidates it shows a Welcome card with four next steps.
- Use the left sidebar to move between sections. The most-used areas are Candidates, Jobs, Pipeline and Clients.
- Your role decides what you can see. Company admins can change company settings; recruiters work day-to-day with candidates and jobs.
Recommended first steps
- Post your first job so you have something to apply candidates to.
- Bulk-upload a few resumes, or add a candidate manually.
- Connect your Gmail or Outlook account so candidate emails send from you.
- Invite your teammates from the Users page.
Once you have candidates in the system, the Welcome card disappears and the Dashboard fills with pipeline, placement and revenue stats.
