Adding a candidate manually

Create a candidate profile by hand when you do not have a resume file.

When to add manually

Use manual entry when you have candidate details from a phone call, a referral or LinkedIn — anywhere there is no resume file to upload.

How to do it

  • Go to **Candidates** and click **New candidate**.
  • Fill in the name, email and phone. A name plus at least one contact channel is the minimum.
  • Add skills, location, current company, CTC and any tags you use to organise your pool.
  • Save. The candidate now appears in your Candidates list.

Tip

You can still attach a resume later from the candidate detail page. Uploading a resume runs text extraction so the candidate becomes searchable by resume content.
